Chartreuse V.E.P. is a rare, limited-edition digestif crafted by Carthusian monks using a closely guarded recipe of 130 plants and botanicals. At 42% ABV, this 100cl bottle is a faithful reproduction of the 1840 original, complete with cork stopper, wax-sealed back label, and individual numbering. Each bottle arrives in a branded wooden box bearing the Carthusian Order symbol.
Produced in small batches annually, V.E.P. undergoes extended aging in traditional demi-muids, allowing complex aromas and flavors to develop over time. The result is a spirit of remarkable depth and persistence. Serve chilled between 13–15°C as an after-dinner digestif to fully appreciate its intricate botanical character and aromatic sophistication.
